About Us
The Santa Maria Association of Family Child Care is currently working toward becoming a non-profit organization created for Family Child Care Providers by Family Child Care Providers for anyone with an interest in quality child care services. It promotes high standards, supports quality comprehensive child care, and facilitates the education of providers. The Association encourages communication and cooperation. It builds community awareness of child care providers as professionals.
Meetings are held on the third Monday evening of each month. Meetings offer training opportunities, information and resources for providers.
A quarterly newsletter is published and gives up-to-date information about education, conferences, workshops, and legislation affecting child care.
The Association connects providers to one another and broadens the child care community. Networking serves as a means for increasing the quality of child care.
